DESCRIPTION:\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’re running a reading group! D’you like books? Social change? Are you interested in how naturally emergent patterns connect to how we might build our social justice movements? \n\n\n\nIf yes\, then join us for a new Gentle/Radical reading group\, featuring adrienne maree brown’s epic 2017 publication\, ‘Emergent Strategy.’ \n\n\n\nStarting Thursday 27th August\, 7.00pm\, we’ll meet (a mixture of weekly and fortnightly) to dive into this text\, hold a space for its invitations and wisdoms\, and discuss what it means to practice its principles – in our communities and projects here in Cardiff. You don’t have to be based in Cardiff to attend\, but we actively encourage those living in the city\, and seeking to make changes locally\, to join us. Above all\, we want to find ways in which to practice radically different frameworks of change\, beyond talking about them\, and support and encourage each other to do the work that our times demand. \n\n\n\nIdeally you’ll commit to participating in all seven sessions and arriving to each session having read the assigned pages (see  schedule below). Different facilitators will lead each session and some\, no doubt\, will emerge. \n\n\n\nIf you’re interested in signing up\, please email rabab@gentleradical.org and we’ll send relevant Zoom links nearer the time.
