Working across
different realms,
the marginal is our mainstream
Our activities shift according to cultural need, interest, and the challenges our communities are facing. For us ‘cultural need’ means addressing the gaps in mainstream cultural practice, provision and thinking.
We create projects that work across different communities, art forms and spaces. We’re drawn to collaborating with people who feel awake to the crisis we’re living through, and are interested in transforming it. Whilst we’re interested in ‘art’ and ‘culture’, we don’t see creativity as exclusive to these spheres. We see radical thinking as the foundation of the creative, the cutting edge, the visionary.
Our activities include pop-up events, performative sharings, film screenings, sung works, grassroots symposia, walks, talks, meals, readings, gatherings and other actions that bring people together.
